9:04 am	Computer AT and burning man So I got the computer it seems to work well, and I finished AT lots of time practicing my Japanese this year. I got word that I am probably not heading out any time soon, man do I hate the bureaucracy, but on the flip side I get to do Gig Harbor this year and I decided Tuesday of this week to attend Burning Man, I had been meaning to a couple of years ago then the whole DLI thing came up, and while that was a blast, in a 'learn a language and live like and irresponsible army guy' kind of way it wasn't very artistically liberating. I met with the Zu, they are a theme camp I might go with. I am playing it fast and loose, by ear and the seat of my pants. More when there is more to say. (Comment on this)

5:13 pm	Laptop Just ordered a laptop from Dell so I can have a computer that is easier to lug around than my desktop. Not having a desk has put a serious damper on computer usage. now the system will be outdated by the time I post this I know but I think it is an OK balance and as long as I can write, and maybe place a DVD it should be worth it. But I cannot abide those keyboards so I think I will definitely be getting an ergonomic keyboard for use with it. (Comment on this)

9:11 am	Herman Mk III So after another season of working in Herman I cataloged the shortcomings and they help in the making of the next version. Some improvements I'd like to make: moving head, currently it just rolls to the side occasionally a moving Jaw, thus I could 'talk' although the voice would still e coming from his chest better arms, I feel they look very T-Rex now I really should give the stilts a once over, it is getting to be that time Another costume: The kilt is great, but I think I want something scruffier with more details and distressing New boots, the ones that Micah and Rebecca so graciously sewed for me are great but need some more mass and a toes peeking through. I am pleased with the hair and all I need for it to do now is to keep it out of his eyes, As much as I hate to say it he may get a mullet. The neck needs some finishing and the whole frame could use some padding so not as much of the frame shows though more lifelike eyes would be good The new version will have a camel back for drinking inside In general I want it to be more lifelike and realistic (Comment on this)
